Very disappointed in the FALSE advertising....If this were Macy's they would honor this price. The Today show needs to be better at researching before sending their viewers on a "wild Goose" chase!

Very disappointed in the Today Show's false advertising. Had hoped to order the Staples Laptop. Most large retailers would honor this price. Love The Today Show.. hope they will do better research before sending their viewers on a "Wild Goose" chase!!

Geeeez...at least you could have noted the errors in the cyber monday "deals" headline (wrong price for asus compter and the camera)before I repeatedly watched the stupid website video that you edited. Today Show is such an EPIC FAILURE. Ever since you fired Anne Curry. A long period of bad karma coming.

The advertised Kindle Fire is not such a great deal because it's the old, outdated model.

Will I hope Natile Morse will no longer appear on Today. She obviously doesn't research her work. Two HUGE, INEXCUSABLE mistakes on Cyber Monday. Way to get two items TOTALLY wrong. Her ONLY job was to tell the companies name and the prices of the items. She BLEW it BIG time. So much for your expert!!!!

Very upset about the Sony Camera screw up. NBC should be much more careful, especially this time of the year. I wasted over an hour trying to find the name of the vender

I find that Black Friday / Cyber Monday, a big scam. Not that it used to be.. it actually used to be a great day for shopping. Now it's basically, "let's advertise a few items below cost and only have 1 or 2 per store" then bait and switch once they have the customers in store. Sometimes they'll jack up prices for a couple weeks before Black Friday to make everyone think they are beating the system... when it's really the other way around. Also it seems like they're trying to turn every day into some shopping holiday.. Cyber Monday, Black Friday, Mobile Wednesdays.. which goes against the point of original black fridays. Don't fall for it. Like Commander Ackbar famously once said... "IT'S A TRAP"

I, too, was drawn in to purchase the Sony Camera(3 of them) for $70 and a laptop for $230. It all sounded so great. I checked the Sony website, called a Sony store and was informed that the model advertised is discontinued and that all discontinued cameras are sent to their Sony outlets. When I inquired if they might have the camera, I was told that the website would reflect stock availability for both the website and the outlets. I was told that website orders would be sent to the outlets. Taking things a step further, I called an outlet store near me and found that they had the camera, but it was $149.99 at the Sony outlet store. So I called the website number. I was first told it was a mistake and it wasn't Sony's fault. I said I didn't care who's fault it was, I wanted the cameras at $70. I was told that they couldn't do that, escalated to the manager who still told me he couldn't sell the camera for that, escalated to his boss, the Director of Operations(Gail) in the Phillipines of course as they all were, Gail made me an offer for the camera, case, and a memory card...using her manager 'discount' for $100. I asked how she came up with that number...and she told me the cost of each. I still wanted to pursue it as I want what was advertised...$70. Mistakes are made, yes, but we are the consumers and typically a store/vendor will stand behind the advertised amount regardless. I am now waiting for Gail's boss, the VP to get out of a meeting and call me back. Just waiting. That doesn't cost a thing. I don't give up. I will always escalate, be nice but persistant. Join me!

Am I the only one that bought some of the bath/body products from nourishusda? Half price, everything was available, made in US, organic, all-natural... I was pretty excited. Sorry about your laptop, but if something seems too good to be true- it probably is, don't get mad at the Today show people.

I was planning on purchasing the laptop and the camera today after watching the today show. I started with the camera and couldn't find it on the website as advertised. I called a Sony store and inquired about the camera. I was told it was discontinued and would only be available at the website and outlet stores. I called the outlet and found they had the camera, but only in a bundle on sale for $149.99. I contacted the Sony website and learned that an error had been made and it wasn't their fault. I let them know that I didn't care that it wasn't their fault but I wanted the cameras as advertised and wanted three of them. I had to escalate to the Director of Operations, Gail, in the Phillipines of course. She tried to explain her way out of it, but I persisted. Finally, she offered me her employee discount and offered it to me for $100 not $70. I held to what I thought was right....stand behind the advertisement. Most companies do if they value the customer. I asked to speak with her boss and was told that he, the VP, was in a meeting but he could call me back and he might be able to do what she couldn't....give me the price advertised. I am waiting for his call back. I have called back once and learned that Gail and the VP have gone home for the day. I left another message for him to call. I will call again tomorrow. Join me.
