Kristina Green realized she couldn't compete with her Maricopa, Ariz., neighbor Eric Cyr's 20,000-light display. 

So she took a different tack. And now her 450-bulb effort is getting all the attention.

Too much? Not according to queen of decorations Martha Stewart. 

“If you can afford the electric bill, go with it,” she said on TODAY.
